The Dirty Dogs - Better Late Than Never

These songs were recorded off and on in the winter and spring of 2006. We would have preferred to have been in the studio full time, but unfortunately there are bills to pay, so we dove in whenever everyone’s schedules permitted.

The Dirty Dogs usually perform as a duo in live intimate settings ; fun to do, but probably tedious on record. So, we came across a good studio and a good drummer and away we went. We worked in the back of a small studio in Toronto’s Kensington Market amid the bohemians, fruit stands and blaring music from a club next door. It was a lot of work and we loved every minute of it.
